And God said, "Let there be light. And it was good."
When winter days are dark and gloomy, the light is dim and the sky is overcast, it is a reminder of the dark world. Jesus brought light into the world, and renewed our faith and hope.
Life is filled with light moments. There are moments of big renewal, and moments of small victories. This weekend, the most holy in the Christian church year, we celebrate renewal, as we await the glory of the resurrection of Jesus on Easter morning.
Today I am grateful for the Light of the World, who sacrificed everything so that I might be saved.
